Black Females in Architecture (BFA)

Black Females in Architecture is a compelling social enterprise and global membership network. Established in 2018 and currently led by co‑directors Selasi Setufe, Neba Sere, and Akua Danso, BFA connects and amplifies the voices of Black and Black mixed‑heritage women (and non‑binary individuals) within architecture, design, and construction. Through curated projects, impactful exhibitions, events, mentoring programmes, and advocacy, BFA empowers its members while shaping an equitable built environment where diverse creators are recognised and valued.
