Connecting black-owned systems & resources for sustained economic value & greater equity

Vlogging from Home Office

Without the infrastructure to effectively connect our businesses, people, ideas, knowledge and opportunities, valuable resources remain fragmented and economic potential is often lost between disconnected networks.

Black Axle aims to address this gap by creating the connections and pathways that enable greater collaboration, business growth, knowledge sharing and participation across the community.

By making it easier to discover, support and work with one another, we can help more economic value circulate within the community, strengthen community resilience and contribute to closing longstanding equity gaps.

Our ambition is not simply to build individual success, but to help build the connections infrastructure and collective capacity that allows success to be sutained and passed forward.

Problems we face

As a collective, the black community continually faces many barriers that hold us back from reaching our full economic and ownership potential.

There are many problems and we've selected our core 4 issues to tackle.

Black-owned businesses struggle to reach wider audiences and new markets.

Low Business Visibility

Limited funding and resources make it difficult for businesses to grow.

Scaling Barriers

Short-term activism fails to translate into long-term customer loyalty.

Support Doesn't Last

Missing reliable data hinders growth strategies and informed decision-making.

Lack of Data & Insights

Black Axle is being built to strengthe the connections that drive progress across the Black community, starting with businesses & individuals.

More than just a directory, forum or media platform, we're focused on creating a connected economic ecosystem where Black-owned businesses, professionals, investors, organisations and consumers can discover one another, share knowledge, collaborate and access opportunities.

By bringing these resources together in one place, we aim to create stronger pathways for business growth, collaboration and wealth creation; helping legacy circulate within the community and be passed forward.
