Accessibility statement

Last updated: 1ST JULY 2026

Black Axle is committed to making our website and digital services accessible and easy to use for as many people as possible.

We believe everyone should be able to discover businesses, access information, participate in our community and use our Platform regardless of their abilities or the technology they use to access it.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to make the Black Axle Platform accessible and usable for people with disabilities.

We are working towards aligning our Platform with recognised accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, where reasonably practicable.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our Platform and look for ways to improve the experience for all users.

2. Accessibility Features

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

3. Third Party Content

Some content or functionality available through Black Axle may be provided by third parties.

This may include:

  • Embedded videos

  • Maps

  • Social media content

  • Event tools

  • Payment services

  • Advertising

  • Business listings

  • Other external services

Black Axle does not have complete control over the accessibility of third-party content.

Where possible, we aim to select services that support accessibility and will consider accessibility when introducing new third-party functionality.

4. Business & User Submitted Content

Black Axle is a community-driven platform, and some content is submitted by businesses and users.

This may include:

  • Business descriptions

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Reviews

  • Events

  • Community posts

  • Other user-generated content

We cannot guarantee that all user-submitted content will meet accessibility standards.

Where practical, we encourage businesses and users submitting content to provide accessible and inclusive information.

5. Accessibility Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas of the Platform may not yet be fully accessible.

Potential limitations may include:

  • Third-party services or embedded content

  • Older content

  • User-generated content

  • Certain interactive features

  • Documents or downloadable files

  • Compatibility issues with specific assistive technologies

We are continually working to identify and address accessibility barriers.

6. Feedback & Accessibility Support

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of Black Axle.

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Platform, please contact us.

When contacting us, it would be helpful to include:

  • The page or feature you were trying to access

7. Alternative Access

If you are unable to access information or functionality on the Black Axle Platform because of an accessibility issue, please contact us.

Where reasonably possible, we will consider alternative ways of providing the relevant information or assistance

8. Ongoing Improvements

We view accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.

As Black Axle grows, we will continue to review our website, content and digital services and consider accessibility when developing new features and improving existing ones.

9. Changes to this Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement as our Platform, accessibility practices or legal requirements change.
